Built by someone who grew up in the business.

I didn’t discover construction through software or business school. I grew up around it.

I spent years renovating a house with my father and working alongside my uncle, who is a contractor. Job sites, tools, crews, long days, and real deadlines were normal parts of life long before I worked in an office.

This isn’t a market I’m curious about. It’s the one I know best.

Time in the field

During college, and especially during COVID, I worked as an excavation laborer at Roto-Rooter, on one of my father’s excavation crews across Westchester, Rockland, and the Bronx.

I was on the job — digging, hauling, cleaning up — and seeing firsthand where jobs slow down, where information gets lost, and where small mistakes turn into big problems.

Where I've worked since

Professionally, I’ve spent my career in environments where results are non-negotiable. At McKinsey & Company, my work is judged the same way business owners judge their jobs: by time saved, costs reduced, and revenue generated.

I’ve also worked in data and engineering roles at Meta and Bloomberg LP, where systems are expected to work reliably under real pressure.

That background matters for one reason only: it means I’m focused on building systems that don’t fall apart as more jobs run through them — and on delivering real results.

In my day-to-day work, I’ve been trained to care about outcomes that actually matter: saving time, reducing costs, and helping businesses make more money. That discipline is what I bring to building Nura.
