I didn't learn about construction in a classroom. I grew up around it.

I spent years working jobs with my uncle across Westchester. Residential work, real sites, real deadlines. During COVID I worked excavation crews with my father. Digging, hauling, showing up every day. I know what this work actually looks like.

I wasn't trying to find a problem to solve. I watched a close family friend run a successful GC business out of manila folders. Good contractor. Great reputation. Receipts in a folder. I couldn't let it go.

During college and especially during COVID, I worked excavation crews with my father across Westchester, Rockland, and the Bronx. I was on the job every day. Digging, hauling, cleaning up. Seeing firsthand where jobs slow down, where information gets lost, and where small mistakes turn into big problems.

That's not a line on a resume. That's where I learned what this industry actually looks like from the inside.

Earlier this year I went to the International Builders Show. I met contractors running businesses just like yours. Good work, loyal clients, growing operations. I listened to what was frustrating them. I looked at the software they were being sold.

I wasn't impressed by what I saw. The tools out there were built a long time ago, cost too much, and were clearly designed by people who have never been on a job site. The contractors I met said the same thing. That confirmed everything.

There is a real opening here. And the people who need something better deserve exactly that.

I've worked in places where results are the only thing that matters. That standard is what I bring to building Nura Pro.

I'm young. I know what that looks like. But I know this industry in a way most software builders never will because I've been in it. And I've spent enough time with contractors to know that what I'm building is exactly what's been missing.
